Informix Database Administrator

A company is looking for an Informix Database Administrator (DBA) to provide operational leadership and technical oversight for financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and administer IBM Informix database environments across various platforms

Monitor database health, performance, and capacity, implementing preventive or corrective actions as needed

Safeguard data integrity and compliance, supporting audits and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience administering IBM Informix databases in production

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Strong SQL skills and Unix / Linux shell scripting experience

Expertise in backup / recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting

US Citizenship, legal permanent residence, or US work authorization with a minimum of 3 years of US presence is required
